Anne Gould
In her quest for the ideal location, Anne has succeeded in finding a shop in the historic area of downtown Philadelphia, the perfect setting to showcase her English Country style. This neighborhood welcomes both her established clients and those who have not yet discovered Poppy's stylish flowers, plants, and custom window box designs. Her trademark is lush bouquets with detailed attention to every bloom. You will be sure to find seasonal textures present in each bouquet. These include branches, pods, and other unique foliage. Because of her precise attention to detail, Anne has earned a loyal clientele, ranging from flower-loving individuals, schools, and businesses to celebrities. Her work was recently featured on the hit TV show, "Whose Wedding is it Anyway?" Poppy is elegant, yet simple and chic. Flowers are sold by bunches or by the stem, and plants grace the walls and floors. Anne is committed to offering her clients only the highest quality of blooms available in presenting her classic English Garden style in both seasonal and timeless arrangements. When not working with flowers, Anne enjoys spending time with her husband and ten children. She enjoys traveling and working during the summer at her family's summer camp, Independent Lake Camp.
Owner Mona K. heads the creative team at Poppy. Her first flower shop, An English Country Garden, was established in 2003. Her unique yet classic approach to flower design has enabled her to move onto her latest venture, Poppy. Formerly an Art teacher, Mona uses her vast knowledge of color and shape in every arrangement. After the completion of her career in Art, Mona spent time training in Europe to further her knowledge about seasonal flowers and plants. Poppy uses only the highest quality flowers to create our garden-like signature bouquets. As designers, we love to experiment with new varieties of flower combinations to ensure that we are always in step with the latest design trends. When not designing extraordinary arrangements, Mona enjoys quality down time with her three daughters and traveling in the summer. |
